Abdomen
— Belly, The portion of the trunk lying between the thorax and the pelvis.
Abduction
— Movement of a body part, such as an arm or leg, away from the center of the body.
Aborticide
— Killing a child in the womb. Feticide, the act of destroying a fetus within the uterus.
Abortion
— (n) to abort (v) abortive (adj.) - the premature expulsion of the foetus from the mother?s womb at any time of pregnancy. The legal definition of viability - usually 20-24 weeks - differs from state to state.
Abortionist
— One who performs an abortion.
Abortive
— Fruitless. Abortive sex, Abortive trial, Abortive child, Abortive attempt.
Abortus
— A fetus born before 20 weeks? gestation or weighing less than 500 g.
Abscess
— A collection of pus.
Achlorhydria
— A condition in which the stomach produces little or no acid. This can affect digestion, cause stomach pain, and keep the body from absorbing vitamins and nutrients.
Acid
— An acid is a chemical substance, any substance that liberates hydrogen ions (protons) in solution.
Acidosis
— Accumulation of acids in body fluids or tissues. An actual or relative increase in the acidity of blood due to accumulation of acids.
Acne
— An inflammatory disease resulting from excess sebum production, follicle plugging, and increased bacterial production.
Ad terminal
— An epithet applied to electrical currents passing in a muscular fiber toward its extremities. Toward the extremity of any structure, such as the end of a nerve muscle.
Adipose
— Fatty tissue, Fatty; to fat.
Adjudicate
— To decide a legal case.
Adrenal
— Gland situated at upper pole of kidney

— Admission, discharge, and transfer.
Adult
— The fully grown and mature organism.
Adulterer
— A person who commits adultery. Adulteress.
Adulterous Intercourse
— It happens when a man exchanges looks with a woman or sends her messages and then has intercourse with her.
Adultery
— Whoever has sexual intercourse with a person who is, and whom he knows or has reason to believe to be, the wife of another man, without the consent or connivance of that man, such sexual intercourse not amounting to the offence of rape, is guilty of the offence of adultery. Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person other than the offender?s spouse.

— Transporting towards a centre.
Affidavit
— A voluntary statement or declaration of facts that has been written down and confirmed under oath.

— Symbol for silver chloride.
Ala
— An expanded or winglike structure or process.
Alba
— White matter of the brain.
Albuminuria
— The presence of readily detectable amounts of serum protein, Albumin in urine, the presence of albumin in the urine, typically as a symptom of kidney disease.
Alimentary tract
— Entire digestive system.
Allegation
— A statement made in a pleading by one of the parties to the action which tells what that party intends to prove.
Allergy
— A hypersensitive state acquired through exposure to a particular allergen.
Alveolus
— Sockets of teeth or air sacs of lungs.
Amnesia
— Loss of memory.
Amputation
— The removal of a limb or other part of the body.
